nan-fedora

A personal dotfiles repository and command-line toolset.

nan-fedora is a single-user project: a dotfiles repository plus a set of command-line tools used by one person to set up and maintain their own machines. It is not distributed to, or operated for, the public.

Why it asks for Google access

One of its tools is a Gmail command-line client that lets the owner read, search, organise and send mail from their own Gmail account using the Gmail API. Authorization is requested only for the owner's own account, and only for these purposes:

• listing, searching and reading messages, threads and attachments;
• sending, replying, forwarding, drafting and archiving messages;
• managing labels, filters and mailbox settings.

How your data is handled

Mail content is processed locally on the owner's own devices and is never transmitted to, stored by, or shared with any third-party server operated by this project. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no use of Google user data for training machine-learning models. See the Privacy Policy for details, and the Terms of Service for the terms that apply.
